HI i took my car, Volvo XC60 for 60,000km Motorserve Marrickville car service at 54 Smidmore St, Marrickville NSW 2204 on 12th Februry. 3rd of March on the car dash board warning signe came up saying Engine systum service required. then i looked up online whats the reason behind it. all i can see all over the internet, over filled engine oil. so i call the service center. Their respond was very arrogant and it should not have come up after couple of weeks. so i call NRMA roadside assistance to have a look on it on 4th March. as per roadside assistance person engine had over filled with more than a liter of oil in the engine, also there were 17 warning messages. As per roadside service center should have clear them at the service and also should have run a computer cheack afer servicing the car. i took the car back to service center on 5th march. so they had a look and also i was told roadside should not advice me about this. basically what they were saying roadside should not point out their mistake to me. but the service center claims it was only 100ml over filled. So my qustion how does an emgine can detect 100ml of oil in a 5.9 l capacity. what the service center forman said “ i think NRMA roadside persons compter shows by liter by liter even a 10ml is over “ so forman was not sure what he was talking, he said he think( exact words ) whole reason i took the car to NRMA as a reputed company would have knowlagable and responsibile people working on cars. very disapointing and utelly poors exprice i had this place. i am very concern about my car after over fill of oil in the engine it could have damaged the car. i am attaching the photo evidence for your refence. photos inclde screen shots of the roadside accistance person computer and car dash board, and after remover over filled oil from the emgine. I would never recommend anyone this place

Speaking about NRMA in general - what a hopeless insurance company. Claude and David (Assessors) lied, misled and were incredibly rude threatening me on the phone. Through the process of my claim I had to cease my insurance with them immediately on account of the terrible service - uncommunicative, slow to deal with the situation (eventually they did not deal with it at all) and rude. After being a customer for over 20 years I am now with AAMI - so much happier and they have much better repairers that do the job properly instead of cutting corners and repairing quick and cheap.

If you love paying a premium for poor customer service and chasing up your own claims (doing the work you pay the premium for them to do), then insure yourself with NRMA.

Overseas call centre kept me on hold for ages, when I finally got through to ask someone a basic question they then put me on hold again. I hung up and went elsewhere for my camper trailer insurance.
