As coffee lovers (snobs) from Melbourne we couldn’t have been happier to find Mambo Coffee - completely by chance as it's a bit hidden away. Well worth stopping for an espresso or your favourite when picking up a bag for home. Don’t be put off by the industrial location. Love the Black blend beans from these guys. We buy 1kg online, once a fortnight. The beans are fresh and it's always delivered so promptly. We have used many other roasters on the Sunshine Coast, but these guys are the best by far!!! Have recommended them to many of our friends and family. Well done Mambo Team, keep up the excellent work!
We've been buying from Mambo since 2017, despite living in Sydney which has plenty of good (and bad) roasters. Why? Organic Beans for starters. Mambo sets a standard for a level of care and attention to the roasting process that not only produces a fabulous tasting bean, they maintain a consistency though different harvest years that even some outrageously priced Melbourne roasters cannot do. Our blend of choice is Black, which offers a silky smooth milk drink that's like sipping on dark chocolate when it hits the window, truly delicious. We recently tried the Malawi Single Origin and it was a delightfully fruit driven drink that worked well with milk. Will definitely order this again with my usual Black if timing works out. Easy on-line ordering, excellent per kg pricing, fast and free shipping, and a huge dose of superb customer service, there's really no reason for me to even consider trudging around Sydney trying out other roasteries again. TBH we do like one roastery here but the pricing with shipping has stopped me buying. A bit of a shame but Mambo slotted in their place very nicely.
The best coffee beans we have tasted to date. As coffee snobs, we have our own expresso machine with an inbuilt coffee bean grinder. We have tried many beans, and keep coming back to Mambo Coffee Red Blend. We stumbled across this place whilst purchasing a propellor for our boat at one of the shops in the complex and are so glad we bought beans from them. The Red Blend is smooth, yet bold and strong, just the way we like it for our double shot lattès. We don’t start our day without a cup of mambo magic.
Mambo coffee training was uniquely taught by Rick who has a vast knowledge about the coffee industry from beans, roasting, milk and the best way to make speciality coffee. I would highly recommend this training to anyone.
I rarely do reviews if ever. I’ve been looking for a nice supply of coffee for my personal consumption. I’m not that picky but I was born in Colombia so I understand what good coffee is. Often so called ‘excelente premium coffee’ could be more expensive than gold. I live in Melbourne and have bought from Mambo online shop twice and will remain to do so forever. I received the coffee bag in less than 24hours, incredible response, and the cost of coffee includes the delivery fee. Incredible. Premium highest of standards coffee without costing me an arm and a leg. I’m glad you guys exist, and of course it was the south American blend I’ve got but I’m going to try them all. Thank you .JC
We have been getting Mambo coffee sent to us since the beginning of the Covid problems. The ordering is simple and it always arrives to our place in country NSW promptly. The beans are always freshly roasted and the quality is consistently high. We are partial to the Red blend. Thanks.
