Prices are bit high that’s the only problem otherwise this thrift shop is Awsm. You might find cheap affordable items, it’s just depend how lucky you are. All the best.

Opshop Review

Everything has been picked over with a fine tooth comb and prices referenced off eBay prices (as listed on the tags) so if you like to go op shopping to hunt and find a gem (really who doesn’t)...this isn’t the store for you. They have printed up special labels that say “Vintage” and “Retro” which is simply code for...prepare to pay more! Anything under these labels is overpriced for an op shop but cheaper than you would pay at a vintage store. It is a good sized store, there are lots of books and clothes, very little furniture. Everything is a little overpriced, even the books and junky stuff.

I loved how well organised the cds, books, magazines, DVDs and VHS VIDEOS (haha) were. Paintings were displayed high up. Reasonably priced in some areas but when I paid they discounted items for us which was nice and unexpected. Found a few good items and wish could have bought more. They had some books i really wanted, seemed overpriced as single, wish it was sold as the set it was. Some areas were dumping areas for random stuff. Staff were excellent and friendly.

The staff at this store are unfortunately very rude, today when I was in the store a staff member yelled at a customer of another race for having the wrong currency. When I tried to cover the 70 cents the customer was short by the staff member refused to take my money then whispered to me that the lady was a scam artist. This behavior is absolutely disgusting I am ashamed of the staff members behavior over 70 cents.

The main Save the Children op shop for the area, so if you want to become a volunteer, go to this shop for an interview. And, it's huge with a massive range of goods... Air Conditioned and well kept store, and the staff are lovely there.

Rude and untidy staff on the donation delivery area. Put me off from donating anything to this shop and help saving children. Looks as if those staff members had nothing to do with the whole idea of Saving Children. just being there for their own benefits. Another thing is that it looks that the store management has not done anything to make sure staff is not rude and is friendly , as the same feedback was provided a couple of months ago and nothing has changed.

Went with half a ute load to donate. All good stuff. About six people in the drop area not one stood up to help, one lady wandering out gave a half hearted thank you. Will be donating elsewhere next time
