Amazing place to stop. I was unsure about this place as I heard a lot of hype but we were driving past and decided why not check it out? The first impression was the mouth watering smell from the kitchen, then the huge array of different coffee. The amount of gift ware through the place made it a bit of a treasure maze experience. The food and coffee was delicious.

We went for a visit to coffee world @ coffee works, thinking we'd spend a few hours as per two different brochures we'd been given. We drove out to Mareeba, only to be disappointed that coffee works was not open. The website does not say it's closed either. Perhaps they're closed due to Covid last year, but Australia has been blessed to have not had too many cases, so I don't know why. We walked around the shop, which is full of stock, we bought nothing. The food at the cafe was about 5 items, and nothing for toddlers, so we went to The cafe at the information centre which was a great meal! I Recommend that for some great tucker! Had we been told coffee world was closed before we went, we wouldn't have been so disappointed! They need to get rid of old brochures around cairns and the surrounds.

Great selection of coffees and chocolates to die for. Very courteous staff make for a pleasant break. Can get a bit hot under the unlined corrogated iron roof.
Fantastic coffee break and browse. Stopped off in Mareeba for a coffee and can’t beat their great Black Mountain Blend was definitely smooth. To top it off whilst enjoying the coffee there we had a taste test of their superb liqueurs . 5 to choose from and you get to taste test them all. A mixture of coffee chocolate type liqueurs. We went for their black top and the latte blend but could of bought them all. 48 per bottle with a small gift included of coffee beans or chocolate if your choice . Then you can browse the shop and also the chocolate area. Well worth the slight detour
Awesome place to have a light snack. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only down side is it is very very hot in the summer, they definitely need more cooling and fans.
Very busy with good cakes and coffee.popular with locals.staff not grumpy.
