Great service cab arrived on time , drive very helpful.
Worst service ever. We caught the maxi cab from Brisbane cruise terminal to domestic airport. We were told that the fixed price was 30 which was also displayed on the sign at the cruise terminal prior to aboarding the maxi cab. Upon arrival at the airport the cab driver charged us 41 instead saying that it was extra 11 charge for maxi cab which we weren’t informed nor agreed before hand. When we argued about the unreasonable extra charge, the cab driver stated that there used to be a sign on the cab informed of required extra charge but his company manager ordered to take the sign off. This has happened to me the second with same cab company. When we refused to pay to extra charge, the cab driver threatened to call the police on us or he would drove us back to the terminal and demanded for our IDs to report us for refusing to pay, we explained to him that we didn’t refuse to pay the agreed fixed price, we refused to pay the extra 11 which wasn’t informed to us in advance. It was principal as we didn’t like the way customers had been ripped off. He then threatened to drive us to the police station and got into the heated arguement with my fellow passengers in front of my two young children and that scared them and scared me too due to the level of escalation. Thus I had no choice but to pay the requested charge. I and my kids will never travel again on maxi cab after this horrible and scary experience. I will also make the report to cruise terminal so they are made aware of this maxi cab driver behaviour toward and the way the company extra charge customers
Absolutely attrocious service. I called well in advance to schedule a MAXI to the airport because we were a large group, but when time comes a PRIUS pull over. When I called the dispatch, the answers I get go from "but it wasn't me who booked", to "but it costs 11 extra" to "I don't know when the maxi will be there". Avoid at all costs.
Cancelled on us last minute
15 booking plus 14.50 to go from milton to the gabba. Will never be booking with maxi taxi again, such a rip off!
Booked a Maxi Taxi to go to Brisbane International Airport from St Lucia. in May 2017. The car (Yellow Cab 1423) arrived right on time. Driver was a super friendly Indian-Australian guy, we had a nice chat...he even helped me with the luggages. Very pleased with the service.
