Awesome view. There's a nice cafe restaurant there as well. Only thing is only paid parking

After all this time, this remains one of my favourite look out spots and picnic areas to see the Habour and also an excellent place to watch the sun set. Add on the native fauna that graces these parts such as the endangered Bandicoot, possums and the occasional odd large bird along with cheap all day parking (5) makes this a great look out spot with a great memorial walk that showcases Australia's military history.

This lookout is fabulous. You can hire a bike near Manly Wharf. It's not expensive. I would suggest go there at Autumn or Winter, as there are too many flies in Summer. They would like to fly into your face.

Great place for a layback walk. Walk along Shelly beach and hike the North head walk to have more fascinating view of Sydney. If too tired, catch the bus down to Manly Wharf with a friendly bus driver.
