Indy was brillant on the phone when I ra g to check if they had s dressin my size. She even checked with her manager to see if shecould hold a item for a week.
Not very good or welcoming service. Young girl upstairs didn't acknowledge customer.
Shopped here this arvo to check sizes for online stuff. Assisted by a nice bloke. Went downstairs. Tried a pair of boardies on. I have 30 years retail ops exp from bottom to top. I merchandise the stock back in place and size order. Went to leave. Remembered to look at shirts.. I turn around and re enter. And here's the rub. The female person working there(who doesn't smile or say hello) is scooting back across the floor from the boardies rack to behind the counter with the hung boardies I just tried on. How insulting. Checking stock to make sure i haven't flogged anything?? Or maybe checking for sea lice. The 3 is for the bloke. The regional or state rep needs to have a chat with said person re customer service. Fact.
Very pleasant atmosphere in the store. I was very well advised and had the feeling that they had really taken their time for me. Gladly 5 stars.
Spent some time on Manly Beach Sydney to bide some time before my late evening flight. Bought some items at a good price and was happy ... until I returned home to USA. The store clerk (and I) failed to notice an anti-theft tag attached to an item, and now I am on the other side of the world trying to figure out how to unlock a "Sensormatic supertag". BUMMER!
I've bought a few pairs of thongs here, as I like the colours and range a bit better than the standard Havaianas. I always buy my swimmers here too, as they're reasonably priced and do separates to cater for the different bottom and top sizes. It's located on the Corso, where it's a hub of activity for retail, so you'll always find something you need to hit the beach.
