Anne and the team are just lovely. They really make loved soft toy repair a special event for the kids, plus they do an amazing job for a great price.

Wonderful service fixing a very beleaguered teddy bear and matching the missing eye perfectly. Beautiful shop to browse in and Anne was exceptionally helpful.

I had a very positive exphearience at The Doll Hospital. The lady Anne is very knowledgeable and she took the time to answer all my questions about the dolls which l was interested in. I really admire her honesty in regards to giving me the right information about the dolls. I spent two and a half hours in the shop and we spoke over a cup of tea. The shop owners made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I have had two doll reapirs done by Charles in the past and l was really pleased with the excellent and authentic restoration. The repair was a well priced. Excellent work!!! l can appreciate being an art teacher the amount of time and effort that it takes to do these repairs. I was so pleased with the service and discounts which l was given, that l went back the next day. I absolutely fell in love with their beatiful antique dolls, that l ended up buying seven dolls and two teddys. Anne really went out of her way to make sure l was happy with the dolls outfits and shoes. She even gave me several touchups on the one hundred year old dolls which l bought, for free. Thank you for a wonderful shopping exphearience.

My Mum and sister spent days searching through the rubble for a porcelain doll’s head after losing our home in the East Gippsland bushfires. Amazingly they were able to locate the head and my sister took it to The Doll Hospital to have it repaired. I was furious after I had heard about the service she had received upon her arrival. They were rude, unhelpful and spoke about her when they thought she was out of earshot. I am honestly disgusted and would absolutely not recommend.

I'm actually relieved to read some of the other reviews and find out it was not just me who this lady was rude to. After finding my childhood toy ripped apart by a dog I called to get an idea of where to start with even getting a quote and how to proceed, the interaction on the phone with this lady left me in tears. I am amazed they have any customers. I would suggest only interacting with them if you; A - have no other choice B - know exactly what you want but are also prepared to be told you know nothing C - Are in travelling distance of their store - any kind of photos being sent etc is apparently out of the question, as other reviews have mentioned they will only entertain telling you if a job is possible by seeing something in person.

We brought my daughter’s beloved doll in for several repairs. Even though the doll cost less than 20 originally, and could have been replaced, the problems were addressed and repaired. The owner made sure all repairs were approved by my daughter and treated her with great respect. What a wonderful experience.
