This is a very special Restaurant, Costa and the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome. When you go to Malmsbury do your self a favour and go and enjoy the hospitality of The Stabbles.
Went there for dinner last night. Not only was the food amazing (best pasta,pizza,garlic bread and apple pie iv ever had) but the atmosphere and people there are amazing. Dinner with a show and even had Kosta come sit with us and have a laugh and share his passion about his food with us. If you are ever up this way YOU MUST STOP HERE FOR FOOD!!! And if you have to wait because its flat out PLEASE do because once you try the food the wait will be so worth it
Fantastic place to dine in or take away. The hot chocolate, pizza's and chocolate mousse was to die for. Would definitely come back here.
Salmon was cooked to perfection!!!!! So nice to sit outside watch wild ducks and geese wandering by. Great place. Will definitely go back again!!!!
Overpriced, small portions. Service a bit weird. Asked about 5 times by different people how we liked the food, any issues, etc. They need to learn the difference between being attentive and being a fusspot.

Great looking venue with beautiful gardens. Every time I walk past it always grabs my attention, but was disappointed after finally going in today. The food was great and had flavour, but after being served cold mushrooms and literally a slice of tomato for an apparent big brekky for 25, you’re left wanting more. But other than the like warm food and small portions, it did have great flavour so would have given it 4 stars. But where the real issue was with the rude American girl who works there. Not even a smile, or an enthusiastic energy to her. She was arrogant and couldn’t be bothered. In contrast to the other staff there who were friendly and smiling, saying good morning to everyone who walked in. In contrast we were basically yelled at by the American person because she didn’t see us check in with the QR code when we actually had. When telling her that the food was cold, she said ‘ok’ and left. Not even, I’ll pass that on or I’m disappointed to hear that. She was incredibly rude and monotonous and was a complete contrast to all of the other staff who worked there. Everyone but this American girl had so much energy and was friendly and smiling. Not sure why a business would hire someone so rude to be the first person customers experience when walking into their business.
