Pleasant stop for a stroll around. There are some impressive trees but the most interesting area is at the back area of park, away from the road, which gives a great view of the railway and an impressive 19th century Viaduct on the line from Melbourne to Bendigo and beyond.

Its a nice spot close to home. Lots of established trees and a nice walk. Has the arched bridge which was an architectural marvel when it was built and not common in this area. Cool river with spots to swing off into the water. Plenty of tables and chairs, a playground, a lake with aggressive ducks and geese. Good spot.

Lovely park. We had lunch here, with some pies from the bakery. The geese were very friendly and would eat out of your hand. The railway viaduct is beautiful and worth a walk to have a look at it.

We had an awesome Sunday picnic at this spot, not too far from Gisborne (20 minutes) and the view is spectacular. There is also less crowd than popular Macedon so that's a further bonus. Things not to miss is the lake with few ducks and the bridge. Highly recommended.
