It's so nice to see this place packed. They really deserve their success. I remember when it was new and had some regulars. The food is really good and it's nice when you miss some good ole Malaysian food. You might have to wait a while now, but it's worth it

I haven’t been back to Malaysia for there years because of the covid. The food and atmosphere was so good I felt like I had taken a quick trip to Malaysia. The Rendang was so delicious I wanted to cry. Love it! Xx
Good food. Managed to get fiddly with the gluten free soy sauce for a mate. Good bustling atmosphere. Very popular so we couldn't get seats.
Best most authentic Malay food I have had in Melbourne. Nasi Kandar is fantastic.
we arrived smack at 12pm but there was already queue (that should be a sign that this place is legit!) The mee mamak goreng spice was toned down, but was a plate of greasy goodness. It’s almost vegetarian because I barely found any chicken slices with it.. but the sauce that coated the noodles made it so addictive!! But OMG the nasi kandar was a clear highlight and tasted super authentic! I especially enjoyed the crunchy delicious fried fish and the flood of currysweet sauce on my rice. They were very generous with portions and prices were super reasonable too (30 for everything felt like a steal, given Melbourne prices these days). We topped it all off with a cup of teh tarik which was not too sweet and went well with our meal. They also serve beef rendang, nasi lemak and ayam kicap - all equally exciting dishes that I can’t wait to try! I thought that I would end up with leftovers but we ended up wiping both plates clean. If you want to indulge in a good cheat meal, this place is a worth it. For a moment, it really felt like I was back in Malaysia. Highly recommended!
Best Malaysian restaurant I have ever been in Melbourne. Thumbs up!!! Highly recommend Mee Goreng Prawn and Nasi Kandar... Churp..!
