Since the company I worked for changed over to ORIX I have had such a frustrating experience. Minimal response to emails, neglecting to answer questions in emails and I have had to constantly follow up my reimbursements that are never within the time frames specified in the emails. It’s beyond frustrating. For an account that is ‘fully managed’ I’m yet to understand what part ORIX actually manage.

So far my novated leasing experience with Orix has been very poor. It is nearly four weeks from my initial inquiry and no order for my vehicle has been placed as yet despite completing all of the necessary administrative hurdles. Whilst Orix boasts on its website that they have experienced people that offer "flexible full service product range" and a "commitment to innovation and development" they appear unable to deal with requests for novated leases on TESLA vehicles and appear to have no idea how to arrange such novated leases. I am am not an expert in this area Orix is supposed to be, but they are asking me how to arrange an order? Surely over the last two years that Model S and X have been available some of their staff must have arranged novated leases for these TESLA vehicles? I don't really understand why Model 3 is any different. Orix customer commitment and product knowledge of electric vehicles in my view is woeful (my electric car even comes with a full tank of petrol on my quote!) and they seem unable to comprehend the option of TESLA referral codes that provide 1500 km of free supercharging. Electric cars are here and more are coming yet ORIX seem stuck with an ICE mentality. How's that for innovation! Regrettably I don't feel that I could recommend them to others in my company as a result. One can only hope that after reading this they can get their act together and engage some talent that understands the future electric vehicle market.
