Terrible reviews but not a reflection of the experience I had. I called and was booked in for the same day. Reception staff were polite and my appointment was on time. The sonographer I had was outstanding with excellent bedside manner. She made an awkward procedure comfortable and respectful. It’s clinicians like this, who treat patients with compassion, that truly make a difference in the world.

Conveniently located next to the medical centre, but there was quite a wait despite making a booking. Bulk billed service is good.

I have been here couple of time. Yes it is busy and there might be some waiting but that within acceptable limits. The waiting area has ample space and there is a cafeteria outside in case you can have one before tests.The staff is good and helpful. My results have been shared with my doctor on time. The hygiene is taken care of. I am quite satisfied with the place.

First of all the call wait time was extremely long with an annoying bot repeating the same words over and over again. I got a referral from my specialist to do an MRI scan for my pelvic bone and femur. I found this centre on google which was very close to me. They had more than 1 receptionists and I dealt with 2 ladies but neither of them sounded welcoming or willing to help. The first one I spoke with said there could be charges and asked me to send through the referral. When I was confirming the email address she already sounded annoyed and couldn’t wait to hang up the call. After 4 hours they called me back and gave me a quote of 700, the reason’s being: the 2 items were not bulk billed by Medicare. Since my specialist assured me it would be bulk billed, I double checked and they said No, they were not bulk-billed. And their earliest appointment was 15 days apart which was way too late. Then I said ok I would call up some more places. When she said bye that was the only time when she sounded keen and happy. I called up 2 other places and “surprisingly” they were willing to bulk bill for me after seeing the same referral letter. The receptionists from these other 2 centres were so much more professional. Both of them had a warm and empathetic tone as they understood they were talking to patients and it’s not all about money. Both centres offered me the earliest appointment on the coming Monday or Tuesday. I chose the closer one at the end.

They do not have Medicare licences and so you will pay dearly. Royal North Shore Hospital has no GAP! The out of pocket costs are outrageous and the service is poor. You are far better off going to any other hospital for better service and price

Very little wait time and an empathetic technologist! I actually had an appointment scheduled at their facility in Macquarie Center but they were kind enough to put me accomodate me on the list anyway. I had to wait just ten extra minutes. Great experience!
