I go to this school. Great lessons (can be a bit slow sometimes but still good), great tuckshop (not much variety of things to choose from but still ok), great teachers/teacher aids. And most of all, GREAT PLAYGROUNDS! trampolines, swings, what else could a kid ask for? over all, great place. if you have a child who is mentally/physically disabled and looking for a school, i would suggest giving this school a go. 10/10!

Mackenzie State Special School has to be one of the best Special Education facilities I have seen. The passion and dedication that Terry Forster and his staff have is apparent as soon as you step through the gates. My son has achieved so much both academically and personally in the past couple years, against what previous schools have said, and that is due to the support and encouragement from Mackenzie Special School.
A wonderful supportive environment when the child and the parent are listened to and heard, the principal is very approachable and his staff is amazing and caring
