Shout out for this fantastic local business who assisted us with aluminium louvres for our bathroom project. They provided excellent customer service from the first phone call answered by Annette, to the sales and production teams. They triple checked our measurements and and were highly competitive in pricing. We absolutely love the finished product! This is the second project they've helped us with, and we would definitely use them again!

When O'Briens Glass didn't even answer my enquiry & Porters were too slow, Nev Donald, the Branch Manager at G James Windows Mackay went above & beyond to ensure that the glass replacement for a shattered window was supplied & packaged safely for transport via barge offshore to Keswick Island. Thank you for the great customer service Nev! I will always recommend your company to others. :)
I had been trying to get X2 windows refurbished at Porters Glass in Mackay for close to 3 months. I’d call to check up on progress and the answer was always that I was on their “to call list” and they were waiting on parts or they were working on them. I checked in last week as I said I desperately needed the windows as I can’t put walls on my house without the windows in and they told me that they haven’t started on them as it would cost more then a new window (this information would of been good to know in January). I asked for a quote to be sent through for new windows that never arrived. I called G. James Windows and Doors and explained my urgency with the cyclone off the coast and my insurance would be void without the cladding on and they were amazing enough to get two windows out within hours for me. I recommend these guys 110%. Craftsmanship was A1 and customer survive is second to none. Won’t take my business anywhere else.
Rang and spoke to a Neville today who was most helpful regarding scratches to our Motorhome mirror. He explained how we might remove marks from the mirror. Thank you Neville for your help, it was much appreciated and especially since it was right on cloing time. Susan.
