Incredibly poor customer service. I provided written notice for disconnection but they tell me they have questions that need to be answered and I need to call them, but they wont call me. The questions were trying to get me to move my service to another address so that they dont lose business. I then speak to their customer service person who tells me that the verbal consent to disconnect my service is not in their terms and conditions but in their policy, but they wont send me a copy of this policy. I was unsatisfied with this so she hung up on me! I've written to the ombudsman and will be sure to warn anyone that listens not to use this dodgy company.

What a waste of time, absolutely terrible, the worst experience I’ve ever had in customer service and didn’t get to talk much.... one of the most awful companies that anybody can go for. I did not appreciate the customer service whatsoever and the person over the phone was pretty rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone, extremely disappointed. Wish it was an option to give them no star at all, as 1Star Is too much for them.
I really can't understand why this company is getting so many negative reviews. I have been with Lumo for over 10 years with various properties I have rented and have never had a problem with them. They are by far one of the cheapest in the market and they offer reasonable rates and discounts. I have never had an issue with their customer service. I suspect many of the negative reviews on here are posted by people who have nothing better to do than find fault in every little thing they can.
WE were going to go with this company because they have a good feed in tariff, but after reading customer feedback will give them a miss..
I left Lumo several months ago as they could not offer 100% renewable energy. Since then at least twice a day I receive a call from your "customer service team". I am frankly surprised at the issues people are having contacting Lumo as they clearly have the capacity to call and harass me every day. I have asked them to stop calling. I have placed myself on the no call list. Yet still calling. There is no way in hell I will ever be a customer of Lumo's again!
Absolutely greedy company, holds money from people and makes it impossible get refunded money from their mistake. Do not use this or talk to people, complete waste of time and will save you heartbreak in the future. Worst customer service and call center experience I've ever had.
I have been with lumo for more then 3 years now. Very cheap and fully satisfied with their customer service. It doesn’t deserve so many negative ratings i can guarantee that . Just try them for once . Thank you lumo and keep it up .
Direct debited 10x the amount due for gas bill due to an error which they have admitted to. Took 4 days to get them to agree to repay, Customer service team would return calls when accounting department was closed for business. Have been repeatedly lied to by offshore customer service team.
