Best fish and chips in the area. Roasted dishes are very impressive, place is clean, staff are friendly, service is quick. Nothing extra or indulgent about the food, just really nicely done classic corner store fish and chips

Messed up order (only minor missed saused) through UberEATS, tried to peacefully resolve over the phone, owner was extremely abusive and in denial after admitting the fault. She was yelling at the top of her lungs, and told me to not return if unhappy, which I certainly won't be after the abuse I received. HSP was expensive (28.50), single meat, 3 sauces. But only two sauces were included. The HSP was TINY in comparison to the competition, and EXTREMELY expensive. EDIT (response to owner) Just to be clear here, the owner was extremely abusive, although this issue was minor the owner refused to acknowledge that this was an issue and lies to me directly. Customer service and safety should be the most important thing when running a business focused on the customer. I was verbally abused over the phone and there was NO apology, I have a recording. The burger was soggy, the HSP for 28.50 was very small (and not fulfilling), and for that price I expect a top quality meal with absolutely nothing missed as the the Mayo is a key part to the meal. I've added in the photo of the receipt to show mayo was included. Also, I provided multiple suggestions on the phone, refund, voucher to the future orders, reorder. Note here, for 57 I expect top quality, no drink, chips or anything with the burger for that price (which I'm fine with but I want top quality). I also believe UberEATS are taking this further as they have heard the recording, and are always concerned for customer safety, UberEATS is a two was partnership benefitting both the customer and the business.
