Jacob was so helpful and friendly, he called ahead to discuss the issue and then arranged to have the correct part before he arrived at our house. He turned up on time, replaced the battery within a few minutes and we were back on the road. He was very friendly and great to deal with. Highly recommend!
Recently booked and had a staff member visit my home to perform a 30k logbook service on my vehicle. Very happy with the results and ease of booking- it was much more convenient for me to have it completed at home rather than travel to the nearest dealership/service centre and wait there for the work to be completed.
Look, they're probably fine if you need a battery jumped or something basic. I've dealt with them twice now. The first time I was talked down to when the mechanic condesceningly told me about refilling my oil. I knew the oil was low and that was one of the reasons I'd called, yeah lazy but hey why not if they were already there. The second time, honestly he had great customer service skills. My headlights had faded out and my alternator sounded like it had a loose bearing. I told him I'd already checked the fuses and bulbs and they seemed fine. He told me he didn't have replacement bulbs on him and I'd have to do it myself. When I DID replace them myself, surprise surprise they still didn't work. He stated because he couldn't hear the noise at the time my alternator seemed fine. Like two days the noise stopped and the battery light came on. The battery had been replaced literally days before, meaning that yes there's a problem with the alternator. Look. Friendly people. But kinda lazy with their work. Again, if you have a basic issue I'm sure they'd be fine. But I honestly have felt fleeced both times I've interacted with these guys.
Called to get a quote on my petrol tank pump repair that previously called mechanics said would need heavy machinery to fix due to it's location which I told Lube Mobile on the phone. They said it would not need heavy machinery, then they got there and then said it did actually needed which I already told them about. They then charged me extra for the heavy machinery and towing after giving me a much smaller quote originally. Then I had to pay the call out fee for them to tell me exactly what I already knew. Would not recommend. Total ripoff.
Dean is reliable and efficient, always willing to go the extra mile and I feel comfortable accepting his recommendations. I recommend Lube Mobile Geelong.
Iv always had positive experiences with Lube mobile, always been in time, professional and honest. Iv never felt forced to go ahead with a quote and always found any extra repair recommendations to be accurate and required but again not forced to go ahead with just there as an advisement. Iv had work completed where the part had malfunctioned working the warranty period and Lube mobile no questions asked come out and replaced it with a brand new and genuine part. On repairs where the warranty period was expired but they had previously repaired it, they have always looked after me and given me pricing that is cost price or discounted labour. The office staff and managers are always happy to help and the mechanics are friendly and come to you at work or home making it super convenient. Compared to multiple other mechanics in my area or the Holden dealership these guys are fairly priced and would recommend giving them a go.
Booked the night before and got a next day service. Arrived at the time they said they would, so no hanging around wasting time. Was done quickly and it was explained what was happening throughout. Fantastic service. Would definitely use them again.
