Los Latinos Reviews | Rating 4.3 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

Los Latinos is located in Maidstone, Australia on 128 Mitchell St. Los Latinos is rated 4.3 out of 5 in the category latin american restaurant in Australia. Los Latinos food spans dishes from El Salvador, Chile and Mexico (tacos and fajitas), with plans to incorporate dishes from Costa Rica, Colombiaand Peru. If I lived around the corner from here I reckon I'd eat the pupusas at least once a week, the hot round discs made from maize flour, stuffed with deep-fried pork or refried beans or two cheeses (or a combination of all three fillings) and cooked on a hotplate. They're served with pickled cabbage and tomato salsa and are mighty tasty. Portions are as generous as a new grandmother.

With a strong variety of food from around Central and South America, Los Latinos is a gem that is well worth the hike. Blink and you'll miss it, the cosy yet brightly decorated restaurant is nestled in between a couple of local shops on the way to Highpoint. Perfect for sharing a few entrees, we had chicken tamales; chicharon (pork belly / crackling) with yucca (chips made from a potato-like vegetable); empanadas (beef pastries); papusas (tortillas or pancakes made from corn flour and filled worth cheese); and ceviche (delicious raw fish cooked in lime juice). This feast plus four glasses of wine cost 80 total. The service was friendly without in any way being overbearing. A true delight for Latins and anyone else who loves gastronomic adventures. There is limited unmetered parking out the front. ¡Provecho!

Service is very slow and its a very noisy place we were waiting for our oder for more than half an hour and when i asked the waiter he told me sorry the kitchen missed your order and they finished it in two minutes Obviously it was reheated with in a microwave. The taste was awful we couldn't eat our dishes as the chicken was smell funny and test like **** .

I'm from Venezuela and I can ensure this place is great. They make all their dishes with Latin American authenticity and effort. They also attended us very well. It's also cozy and comfortable. 100% recommended

Delicious food, attentive staff, quick delivery even when extremely busy. Bookings are a good idea! Brought my mum here with my partner on a Friday night, luckily we made a booking because they were packed, their restaurant has a homely feel and they have heaps of photo's on the wall which make for interesting conversation. The food was delicious, we got fish tacos and a seafood paella to share, good size meals with good flavors.

I only recommend some dishes. The service is poor. We spent close to 100 and we're not asked how we were going. They served us packet microwave cheese for the dips, Definately NOT authentic! The toilet sink was filthy and stained. I believe it is overpriced. Not returning as a customer and I won't be recommending it to my friends!

Really good authentic South American food (Columbian, Peruvian etc) and friendly service. Their guacamole is to die for and isn't just pureed avocado. Place is small and seems to be wholly run by the owners who do all the work so expect a bit of a wait for your food if the place is really busy which it often is.

Came to have lunch on Sunday for a special occasion and sadly wasted our time. These idiots decided to shorten their hours without updating them online. Very disgusted.

Great place for traditional South American food. Wonderfully friendly staff. Place is a must visit.
