I went and saw Dr. Lalak after having gone to Liverpool Hospital in quite a lot of pain. By the time I had booked an appointment with him I had seen my gp numerous times and done more than one Ultrasound, blood test, urine test - you name it. I came to my appointment with all of this information on hand and even went out of my way to have it scanned and sent to his practice by the admin staff at my health centre. Unfortunately none of this mattered. When I got there, he was interested in getting me in and out as fast as possible. I think I counted 6-7 minutes? And that's because I asked so many questions. He told me to go and RE DO the tests I had already done more than once and had in front of him, and then come back and see him. The whole experience was pretty grim. And to top it off you get to make a close to 300 payment upon leaving his office for the first time. Had I known this was the treatment I'd have got, id have gone to someone else in a heartbeat. Someone who would have taken the time to read all the results I brought to him, and treated my illness seriously. Please don't bother if you don't want to feel like you are just a revolving door of patients.
