Absolutely beautiful place to have a dip and enjoy the serenity. Try to avoid weekends and public holidays as it will be crazy busy. Also be prepared for the 135 steps to get to the bottom (well worth it though). Enjoy the water monitors while relaxing by the water.

Amazing place which must be experienced in person. The falls are spectacular and the swimming hole beneath them is so refreshing on a warm day in the Territory. The waterfalls are easy to swim under and there are a few nice rock pools which create a nice spa effect. What better way to spend the day than to swim, relax and enjoy the tranquil sounds and surrounds.

What a place! Delightful water, beautiful scenery, very accesible. We went the stairs way - 135 stairs! At roughly 450m, the walk is fine, just take your time coming back up. Nice spots for a picnic and a swim back up off the car park. Bring goggles! If you want to swim under the waterfall it'll help, but also there are plenty of fish swimming around, so nice to be able to watch them.

Wow what a place! Easily my favourite spot in all of the NT. Perfect swimming hole and 2 waterfalls!! What's not to love other than that humidity haha

There are 135 stairs down to Florence Falls. Once there, the water is clear and deep. There is a life saving ring on a rope should anyone get in trouble.

This is a must do swimming hole and walk. Water monitors feed along the creek and can sometimes be seen hunting along the tracks, don't feed them. The view from the lookout above the falls is amazing and the the staircase down is quite a descent into to the lower creek and falls. There are two access tracks so the second is a longer gentle track if the stairs are not for you. The water is nice and cool at the base of the falls and a good workout to swim against the current to get u.der the falls. A magic place to cool off and enjoy nature. Take a face mask or goggles, snorkel or even a GoPro for viewing the fish in the pool.

Loved florence falls and the cascade and water holes one klm back up the road from the falls called bully falls for memory. What a great place to have a swim and cool down. There are toilets to change in. Easyvwalking path to rocked foot path to get to the pools above to florence falls around 250 or so stairs to walk down. A beautiful viewing point to take in the falls. Or go down for a swim. Or just wonder in ore if the canopy of the tall trees above.

It was well worth the long drive and the walk down steep steps. Beautiful clear water, could see lots of fish swimming around. My husband had a fish bite him on his toe whilst he was sitting out for awhile wading his feet in Scary watching young guys jumping from the top of the waterfalls! Lots of shaded area so it’s ideal to bring a picnic lunch or snack. Water temperature was moderate. Lots of parking spaces and public restrooms available.
