Have absolutely no idea about what they are selling. If you don't know what part you need or what car you want then don't bother going. Everytime you ring and ask for help, they always say have you got a part number. Clear fact that they have no Idea about what they sell
Don't bother. Take your well earned elsewhere - just give them a call first and check the response! You will be interrupting their day. Online sell things they don't have - take your money then refund partially upon sending with NO explanation as they didn't have in stock but still paid full postage.
Bought a new crawler on line but unfortunately stock had run out so close to Christmas, the guys went out of their way to help sort out an alternative car. Thanks again guys really appreciate it! Legends
They seem very disinterested with newbies. I asked a few questions and the responses were very abrupt... yet they'll be more than happy to spend 30 mins talking to others about race tournaments, etc and make you wait. When I finally did get served, the guy left me to attend to another customer which he made me wait another 15 mins before his colleague decided to finish off the sale. I should've left and bought from another place down the road as I found the item was 20 cheaper but i thought I'd give them a chance. His colleague was even worse. Asked him about grease and lubricants for maintenance and he just replied, when it breaks, just buy a new part. When I do venture into the higher end models, I definitely will not be spending my money there. Poor customer service and overpriced, go elsewhere.
Decent shop layout but customer service is appalling. Did not get a greeting or a smile despite being the only customers in the whole store. The salesman just stood there and stared at us until we approached him. We were anxious enough as we knew little about RCs and wanted to get into it for the first time. After telling him our budget of 300 per car, we felt very looked down upon and was assured that we 'can't get much for that'. No further help or assistance was given. Ended up going to Crazy Hobbies in Stanmore and spent 500 each. We would've happily went over budget at RC Hobbies if we were properly looked after.
Just phoned the guys at RChobbies about 3d printer filament, and although they didn't have the type I need they were super helpful and suggested a few alternatives. Very impressed.
