Cathy altered my wedding gown which arrived from overseas a size too small and I can safely say, she is phenomenal at what she does. Cathy is a true perfectionist who is passionate about her craft. Over several appointments, she made subtle tweaks and adjustments to my dress until it fit "just right", including raising the waist, so that it sat in the correct position on my body. She was incredibly careful when handling my dress and was very upfront in the beginning about the potenial risks of taking a garment out, which I appreciated. (Taking a dress out is often more complex than taking it in) In the end, she did a perfect job and you you would never be able to tell that it has been altered. I received 3 other quotes for the same work and hers was the most reasonable. I also felt that her expertise level was the highest of the 3 seamstresses I spoke to. Excellent value. Thank you Cathy!

Cathy altered my wedding dress for me for my wedding a month ago. She is the most amazingly talented seamstress I have ever met! She was so kind and patient and explained every single thing that she would do to my dress and made sure I was ok with it before she did a thing. She noticed details and small fixes that my dress needed that I would have never even seen. She took the time to check every detail before she finalized it and made sure I was happy with everything. She gave me advice on what would work with the dress and what would give me the look I was after. Last minute she even made me a petticoat to go under the dress when I changed my mind about the hoop I had purchased for it originally. Cathy was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure that I was completely happy with every detail of my dress before I left with it. I found Cathy completely by chance after I discovered another seamstress was about to cut straight through my hand sewn lace hem to shorten my dress. I brought my dress to Cathy so shaken by what might have happened to my dress, but within 5 mins of talking to her, I had complete faith in her abilities. I couldn't be happier with the results, my dress fit perfectly and looked stunning on my big day. Cathy is an absolutely lovely lady, and a perfectionist at her craft. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any bride who is nervous about their tricky dress alterations! Thanks so much Cathy!
