I’ve found the cheese inside my calzone a bit too salty, so when I tasted my friend’s boscaiola I’ve found it tasteless, but probably just because I had my pizza first and it was too tasty. Not much choice of desserts. Good value money and very nice staff.

Relaxed atmosphere, everyone is friendly (even in the kitchen) and delicious, inexpensive food. A neighbourhood gem. I've been back twice recently and although I'm tempted by so many of the options I just can't go past the gnocchi gorgonzola. Oh, my!

Gabrielle and his lovely wife run this hidden gem in Leichhardt. It feels like an authentic Italian restaurant of the sort you'd find on a fashionable street in Milan or Rome. The cuisine is authentic and delicious, and can be washed down with a selection of really lovely Chianti if the mood strikes. Best value by far is their 30 pizza and pasta combination. Our go to is Petrini and Penne Vodka.

It was our anniversary dinner there. The restaurant has been around for many decades now. The food was tasty and ingredients were fresh (can't dispute on that). Nonetheless, service was a bit slow as there were only two waitresses who took care of 9 tables that night. We ordered Antipasto which came out pretty quickly. Then, our main meals came right after (we hadn't finished our entree yet). So, we ended up having 4 big plates on the table which made us feel kinda rush to finish. Since I was still eating the entree, my pasta had to sit there and became cold; not impressed. Anyway, I'm sure there are many Italian restaurants around which deliver great quality of food but service is always a value-added experience to draw me back.

Great local, family Italian. Currently has a limited menu but it's still fresh and great quality. The wines are great value right now as well!
