I've purchased from Bowlers Barn on a number of occasions and always been impressed. Today was no different, customer service at its best. Bill rang me to tell me part of my order may be delayed as there was none in stock and may be delayed for about 10 days, but would send the rest of my 2 orders straight away. I was very satisfied with that and thanked him for the call. Then the piece of resistance, about an hour later, another call from Bill, he had sourced the remainder of my order from another supplier and had arranged with them to on forward to me directly. IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT ! 2021 customer service still exists. Thanks

Called about an expensive order which I paid 17.50 postage for on top and 13 days later still had not arrived. I was politely asking and unexpectedly got yelled at by the very misogynyistic man that answered the phone I simply wanted a tracking number(which should have been emailed to me) however after screaming at me the man hung up. Never been so shocked by such terrible customer service in my life- i ended up in tears. I would avoid here due to expensive shipping costs, shipping times not meeting The required time and horrible staff. UPDATE: it is now 45 working days later... still have not received my parcel... there was obviously a reason the staff on the phone hung up and were so rude they had not sent the item I have paid for. Unfortunately I had to escalate this to a pay pal claim after no help from bowlers barn. I instead bought the item which I had to pay for again after bowlers barn have taken my money from another online bowling shop. As this was a present for an elderly family member I would urge customers to use another online bowling shop, I would hate for the same amount of money to be taken from,or the same customer service manner to be used on an elderly person :( I have only ever written positive google reviews before, very sad I have to write this. Please avoid shopping here at all costs
