I went with Palmers over several other companies to move from Melbourne to NZ because of the excellent communication and friendly service. Their quote sat in the middle of my other quotes but the service sealed the deal. They provided all packing materials and packed my items with care. The pickup driver was friendly and helpful and the customer support centre are always lovely to speak with. Huge thanks to my consultant Marcela who was an absolute breeze to deal with. I know my things are in great hands and I will recommend Palmers in the future.

Moved from Melbourne to Ireland during the pandemic and very happy to have used Palmers Relocations for the removal process. Kieran was excellent from visiting to provide a quote all the way through to providing paperwork I needed in Ireland. Household items professionally packed collected and delivered door to door which was ideal and easy car drop off and pick up. Highly recommend Palmers Relocations.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Hidden charges galore and will sneak extra charges in last minute. We moved from Australia to Ireland, initally the quote was good and we were happy to proceed with our shipment. The day before the removal we were notified that there was an "extra charge" and were informed that the operator we dealt with was misinformed. No compromise given to us and due to the short notice we felt stuck and went with the new quote. We moved in August 2019 and everything was delivered. We thought we were done with Palmers, however in July 2020 they charged our Australian account over 200 for nothing. Only for us having notifications on our Australian bank account we would of never known they debited us,as they never sent an invoice to us and they failed to explain what this charge was for. We followed this up and currently awaiting our refund, in the meantime I've advised our Australian bank to refuse any future payments requested by Palmers. If I was doing the move again, I would not go with Palmers. At the beginning their rate was the cheapest, but as mentioned earlier they produce these extra charges last minute and to top it off they will try debit you again once you are in another country. Go with seven seas or the other companies, they are more competent and trustworthy than this lot.
Kieran and his team at Palmers went above and beyond when we had a crisis with our shipping. His customer service and professionalism was second to none. We can not praise Kieran and his team enough for their dedication to getting out shipment sorted and us back on the road, especially on a weekend. You will not regret shipping with Palmers!
Dodgy, dodgy company. My household used them to move house and they significantly underquoted us and snuck in charges on top of everything. Customer service was awful as well. Very upsetting and stressful.
The.Palmers team were fantastic at all stages of the move. Helpful advise. Professional and thorough. But huge credit to the packing team. Great guys. Happy in their work, they did an amazing job with care and experience. Don't absent mindedly put something down or it will instantly wrapped and packed. Thoroughly recommend Palmers for the OS move.
I engaged Palmers to ship my entire household from Australia to Germany in a shared container. I asked the sales rep how long delivery would take and she advised me it would be about 10 weeks. 20 weeks later we are still waiting for the shipment to arrive. My kids were left without winter clothes, we had no furniture, no linen, dishes, pots or pans. I was eventually forced to replace the vast majority of items that are in the shipment in addition to having to arrange storage for everything else once it arrives. I am now effectively paying thousands of dollars for the shipment of something I no longer need. I contacted the National Sales Manager to give Palmers the chance to sort the problem out. I was told that my sales rep should not have promised delivery in 10 weeks for a shared container. Besides that they don’t want to take responsibility for the problem. Companies are responsible for the information their staff provide to customers. To say it’s not their problem that the delivery takes twice the promised time is a cop out. I am stuck with a huge bill that I would not have had if Palmers had not given me misleading information.
