They wasted 2 hours of our days just to ask me where I last lived... then said we can't help you??? What the he'll I literally lived 10min drive away from the place... Also my partner wasn't happy after being spoken to... to whoever's running this place need to ask these simple questions over the phone first. To save everyone 2hours for nothing

I lived under a disability ramp opposite Launch Housing in Collingwood but Yarra counsel demolished the ramp to the disused building to get rid of me. I would still be homeless if it wasn't for Covid-19. The Mercure Hotel isn't as good as the disability ramp. I wish they could rebuild my home... disability ramp. I just want a home with a proper lock on the door and some sunlight.
I would like to add my voice in comment, regarding the excellent experience i had with Launch Housing St Kilda recently.Demands on the services and staff are high-as they mostly are with clients and enquirers.I have found myself at this excellent resource many times and have frequently been assisted and or well directed/comforted.Most recently,I found myself in a complex situation, which felt both demanding and isolating. This was compounded by not wanting to share all of the situation.500 was very generously made available. While this was amazing in itself, the discretion, professionalism and warmth were just what I needed to return the bounce to my step.It is perhaps not ideal that one individual finds themselves at this and like resources as often as I and others do-and that"s certainly was how I was feeling in the few days leading up to my approach. The domino effect on this occasion and at other times has been again-amazing.In particular,I would like to thank the people who are resilient and patient enough,to consistently present as though they are sure that this time-the outcome will markedly improve the client's life.
hung up on, no answer, transferred to an endlessly ringing phone.....actually less than one star if that was an option
The best place to go and ask for help . Wonderful staff
They do the best they can With what they have available...
Iam happy with the help from them thy God to me because thy got me place thy good people and I love going there for help I am homeless on the St thy good I am happy
Absolutely repugnant service claiming to help those in need, yet placing those they claim as 'clients' into dangerous housing. **THIS IS A ZERO-STAR REVIEW** Launch discriminates against men, favours women, buys into the gendered dpmestic violence nonsense, and shirks all duties of care for those they claim to assist. You turn up in absolute need, and throw you into another junkie roominghouse, only for your valuable and most treasured possessions to be stolen, sometimes by the owner/operator of the establishment themselves!! Beware, avoid at all costs!!
