Very convenient drop off at Grand Chancellor Launceston. Staff very professional and efficient. The overall experience from pick-up in Hobart to drop-off was excellent. The hire car, a Suzuki Vitara performed really well despite the poor roads and weather conditions between Hobart - Strahan - Cradle Mountain. Fairly efficient on fuel at approximately 70 for 620kms.

Appalling service. Almost 2 hours wait at Hobart to pick up a vehicle booked 6 months ago. Cracked windscreen caused by logging truck. Estimate for repair over 1300 including charges !!!!!!! Still waiting for confirmation of repair to vehicle to enable my insurance claim more than a month ago despite my initiating 3 phone calls to Avis. Planning a 12 week car hire in Europe later this year . It definitely will NOT be from Avis.
