Husband went out on this charter today. Was extremely disappointed with the fact that the website clearly stated all fish would be gutted/cleaned and gilled and none of them were. 5 small lousy fish between 3 people. Some places they were lucky to even stay for 5 mins before being told to bring up their lines and they were moving. For what was meant to be his bucks day he was extremely disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic day...Paul called the day before to ask if we would prefer an earlier time as the winds were picking up later in the day we took him up on the offer and were not disappointed in one bit ... he constantly moved us around to ensure we had a decent chance of catching A few good size fish and to top it off he does bacon and egg rolls NEARLY as good as me ... he can nearly fish as good as me too ;-) ... thanks for an awesome day ... we will be back !!!!
Not a deep sea fishing charter, went about 3km off the coast drifting across sand flats the few fish we did catch where not cleaned as they advertise on web site had no deck hand so fish not cleaned or gutted been on a lot of great fishing charters and unfortunately this is not one very disappointing don't waste your money
Ive taken my family members on aqua jack endless times,i can proudly say captain paul makes sure u have a great day. Ive always had plenty of fish to bring home and its always cleaned and on ice. Great laughes and great company throughout the day. Would recommend this charter 2 anyone wanting a great day out....cheers 2 aqua jack.
We’re do I start was the “worst”. Charter I’ve ever been on I called it as soon as he pulled up said boys were bottom bashing today the gear was all set up he knew what he was doing it was a great morning no swell no wind was amazing my kids got me this for Christmas they paid 150 per head their was 7 off us their was no ice no cold drinks no deck hand “owe” hang on their was a dog that ate ya fish if ya didn’t get them in your esky fast enough have a video off this was suppose to be a 7 hr charter but it was only 41/2 including travel from Swansea rsl out and back I tack my boat further than we went it cost me 120 for a day with 5 off us with everything he ran up and down just out side the heads about 1 klm off shore we asked about going out to the fads or other places he said nothing out their we got 6 fish between us what a disappointment think that the good reviews on here are written up by the owner don’t even bother to waste your money on this charter not worth more than 15 a head
I decided to take my father on a fishing trip for Christmas as we don't see much of each other. Paul rang the night before to let me know that he couldn't take us into open waters due to high winds. The option was to reschedule or stay on Lake Macquarie. Really wanting to catch up with my father, I chose the later. Paul picked us up at 3am and we had the run of the boat (all the other guests rescheduled). Paul made sure the gear was rigged, baited up my hook and most importantly, talked me through landing the big Jew fish I caught and the smaller Taylor. I had a great morning (and I think my dad did too - even though he didn't catch any fish). Paul was very helpful and friendly and makes a great bacon and egg roll for breakfast.
I would not recommend this fishing charter to anyone, they are certainly not a professional fishing company, they are not worth 150.00 per person. The breakfast you get at 11.00 if lucky, the gear was new about 10 years ago, the deck hand was more interested in sleeping than helping you with your gear, the whole set up was a disgrace, not even any ice to keep your fish fresh to take home, just left in the sun, then they expect you to take it home. Please think twice before parting with your hard earned money. I am sure there are more professional boats out there worth the money.
Absolutely unreal!!! Highly recommended top bloke had a cracking day out on the water with paul the skipper will help you through everything if you want to go fishing give him a call 10/10 absolutely fantastic!!!!
