Stayed overnight after a 2 day hike, paid 80 for a small, hard camp-site, facilities weren't bad, kitchen was well kept. The lake facilities and recreational facilities were great, very little litter and the rules were well enforced while being reasonable

Beautiful, peaceful family haven. Canoe hire and cafe, plenty of parking and better still, no motorised boats allowed on the lake. Set amongst lush bush and mature trees, an oasis close to home!

Amazing camping area so close to the city, yet far enough away to make it feel like you are really getting away. Excellent facilities, including powered sites, sheltered food preparation area, and full toilet and shower facilities. Combined with the lake itself, the awesome picnic areas, and facilities this is a must stop

I enjoyed this campsite for the people - lots of friendly locked down WA families! The site is kept clean, toilets and showers as well. With young children we simply brought a flexible tub for bathing them. The lake is the main feature of course, beautiful place with many birds to watch and some to chase away... Canoe hire for 16 a half hour or 26 for a full hour seems alright and it is lovely to go out for a paddle with the little ones. The staff are also there in case of an emergency and can ride out on a motor boat to help. Heaps of BBQ's to cook on and a little shop open for limited hours that you can get years, coffee and whatnot. We had a few medical issues and unexpected needs and drove 15 minutes to town for the chemist or shops for extra warm clothes for night time...
