Very tasty but not so crispy or flaky inside! I love the cheese tarts but everything else seem a little too soft in terms of pastries! Very tasty and yummy though (wish it was more crispy!) Best to stick to the original cheese tarts! I am not a big fan of the choux or croissant.

Finally decided to get some tarts (6 to be exact) and a choux and that's because there wasn't a queue. The choux (strawberry n cream) was different, it had a crispy layer and creamy strawberry filling inside but ratio of the filling wasn't balanced. Should of just got the original choux! The tart base was crisp, the filling was warm and gooey and not overly sweet. Would I wait in the queue for these next time, probably not!!

I love a variety of croissant here !! My favorite filled croissant is Salted egg and Mentaiko. Also, a box of cheese tart is worth it. My family love their original tarts but personally I like the yuzu cheese tart even I'm not a big fan of cheese tart in general.

The original flavored cheese tart and the original cream choux would still be the best for me. I had a couple of other tarts like the blueberry and strawberry but still prefer the original one. I am usually not a fan of nuts in anything but the choux changed my mind! Would have given 5️ if the tarts were consistent I mean sometimes it’s too runny inside like this one in the photo. The other times we went it was kind of nicely set and solid.

I'm giving a 5 for the quality of the pastry itself. I love the Original Choux and their coffee pan is to die for. Searching for a coffee pan as good as they bake it is so difficult to come by and reminds me exactly of the type of pan's i used to have in japan. I also had one of their special ranges which was the apple custard cream puff. Needles to say i had to come back and buy three more for myself. The pastries are so great and i find they're not too overtly sweet, the custard cream is a real winner. As for the service it drastically needs to improve. It seems like the staff don't have allocated tasks to each team member at the start of the day and the girl who is simultaneously serving customers is also prepping their orders. One team member should be allocated to taking orders, and one should at the minimum be following up on the prep of said orders so it allows to lines which are quite common at this place to move faster and smoother. The two other team members tasked with baking should remain in this section. It seems like its more an issue with the management of the overall service as opposed to a lack of staff. Hopefully their team notes this.

There were heaps of flavours for the choux and the tarts. My fave choux was the Nutella and my fave tart was the blueberry. If you can, try to go when the line is shorter because waiting more than 20min is not worth it in my opinion.

The quality of choux varies from time to time. Sometimes it doesn’t taste that delicious. Maybe I’d it too many times but really it’s just few times. Tried to cheese tarts here and they tasted good enough.

I was very excited when I saw Kumiru opening, reminding me of the beautiful cream-filled choux from Zaku Zaku. But unfortunately, that's where the resemblance ended. The choux on offer here was served cold, the cream was not as tasty and the ratio of cream-to-pastry was off. It's still a stunning product to look at through the shop front but not having them served hot was disappointing.
