Dear Knitting co, I've been knitting for about 60 years and have just treated myself to a full set of 5" Chiagoo needles. Goodness, I wish I'd done it earlier! I've only been knitting with them for about 20 minutes and had to write to say thank you! They're fabulous. Don't know what sort of steel the needles are made of but they create the perfect amount of friction when knitting. The knitting slides beautifully but doesn't slip, neither do your hands. And you hardly notice the connecting cable is there, unlike other brands that always feel like they're in the way and that usually catch at the connection. I love the fact that all my needles are now conveniently stored in one small pack and the needles have their size etched on them so I'll never need to check what size they are. Brilliant! Update: am now half way through my cardigan and still in love!
It's hard to find Tulip Etimo Rose hooks at the moment. Knitting Co has them at a great price and with speedy shipping. Very happy with their service. John Clark
