I have been a tenant with Renting Here since they first opened up in Townsville years ago. They have been absolutely fantastic to transact with as a tenant. I am also a landlord (property not in Townsville) so I understand what landlords need from a real estate agency, and trust me, Renting Here deliver on all fronts. Over the years I have had the usual maintenance requests, and 100% have been rectified immediately. I remember the week of the 2019 Townsville Floods and my toilet was blocked - they sent a plumber the same day. I try to be a reliable, honest and attentive tenant, and they always take my concerns and maintenance requests as a priority. They have never let me down, and honestly make renting pleasurable. I have absolute trust in their ability as a real estate to put the tenant and landlord as a priority. My requests are always responded to within 24 hours and job requests are then prioritised in a timely manner. They are a reliable business and I recommend them to any friends who are looking to rent their property in Townsville. The team are small but diligent and efficient.
As a tenant I can say that renting here is an awesome team to rent through and were easy to deal with when needing to.
Would not advise renting with this company. Incredibly unprofessional staff members whom repeatedly respond to tenants with passive aggressive, rude and unhelpful emails. There is limited support from this service when it comes to inspection notice and the provision of paperwork requirements. Maintenance is always delayed, sometimes by upwards of 10 months. I would never rent with this organisation again. At the end of the day a renting service should pride itself on quality communication, the delivery of correct information and helpful correspondence - all of which Renting Here, cannot.
