Good for kids
A nice thing to do as part of a day visit to Dangar Island. THere are a few entry points from around riverview avenue, they are a bit tricky to spot as they look like private house accesses - but look for the worn out signs advising of no camping or rubbish. There are some signs pointing our that aboriginal artefacts and painting exist...but i guess you have to be in the know to find those.

Located at the top of the mountain at Dangar Island. Entry to the walking track is alongside House number 151 on Riverview Avenue. Walk takes no more than 5 minutes. It’s straight up to the top. The broad view is blocked by tall trees - but you can make out where key locations are - like the river and railway bridge. No facilities here.
Some parrots spotted, lorikeet, galah, cockatoos etc.
