Nice walk, even if you don’t go far

Didn’t figure out where the car park was, but the Coastal walk was indeed fun, watch out for those flies and don’t wear black if you’re hiking up

Great walk and place for photography. Not often you can walk between the coast and some cow pastures which is quite serene. Be mindful that if it rains while you're walking there is absolutely no cover around. Considered a medium to hard walk by National Parks, probably because it is hilly, uneven dirt track and the bottom of the hills are muddy/slippery.

If you like walking this is for you, parking is good, toilet facilities are clean. The walk takes in the coast line to the south of Kiama.

Room for about 3 cars to park here. Steep grade road and land to walk from here. Has a single unisex toilet

Yes this car park is pretty small but it’s a good place to start walking the middle section of the Kiama Coastal Walk. It’s 6k from this car park to the lagoon at Werri Beach and we walked there and back at a reasonable pace and it took about 2.5 hours. Be warned though it’s not a flat walk. You go up to a headland then back down to sea level at least four times on the walk each way and some of the rises are pretty steep. It is a great walk though and at this time of year you do see lots and lots of whales, some of them very close in. The warning sign at the start of the track is good for a laugh. I particularly like the warning about being gored by cattle, bitten by scorpions or hit by a train. I wonder how many overseas tourists turn away after reading that nonsense.
