I love this place..its so peaceful, during mass u feel the angels and saints come down and join you in mass..The nuns are so kind and welcoming..

Purchased a “Perpetual Lamp” from the nuns here, to support the nuns / order and to share in the spiritual benefits, prayers, privileges and penances of the entire Carmelite Order - a great gift idea too. Beautiful surrounds, lovely gift shop with handmade skincare by the nuns sold here too. Outside statue of St Therese of Lisieux beautiful, as is the inside statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the brown vestments. A wonderful place to visit and pray!

Glorious church maintained by a beautiful contemplative community. Another reviewer is incorrect: monasteries are for cloistered nuns or monks. Convents are for active sisters or friars, hence the Conventual Franciscan Friars.

What a Beautiful family of religious sisters and the ambience is delightfully receptive within magnificent Gardens. Great meditative place and also great for life's reflections.
