Great place to visit with the family or take your dog down for a swim but be aware as other people will have their dogs off the lead and that can cause some trouble Pretty cool lookouts and when there has been some recent rainfall the waterfall looks fantastic and will get you some great photo opportunities

Fantastic place for the family! It's an easy 15 minute walk from the road however the last part is steep, so not for the frail/elderly. Lovely spot, great for kids, teens, and adults.

What an amazing little hidden gem on the south side of Sydney, Georges River Basin Only a short 1km walk from the carpark, mostly flat ground but the last 200m is a steep staircase so come prepared for that. It’s a lovely little swimming hole and place to relax with the family! Beautiful scenery. The walk is a little steep down. Carry your togs if you're keen to swim

Great place. Hike not bad, does have some steep steps but saw kids doing it. You need to park at Kentlyn Preserve Parking lot.

Arrived at Keith Longhurst Reserve with parking available along the side of the road. On a weekday, there were about 6 cars when we arrived. From here an easy walk following some signs that I think says basin walk (although some were missing, keep an eye out for the post that was holding the signage). The trail can be a little rough, meaning loose rocks, but overall quite safe. We eventually reached a point we could hear a waterfall, overlooking the cliff we could see Kentlyn Basin. When we reached the stairs down, it was an easy track down. It took us about 15 minutes walk down (at a steady pace) to the basin from where we parked. Along the way we came across some beautiful scenery and fresh air. At the basin, it was very cool and plenty of places to relax and take in the wonderful atmosphere. Some people cross the waters to the otherside to continue trekking or to have a lay on the rocks. When crossing the waters, there are algae on the rocks so it is slippery, so take your time and be careful. When heading back, please take whatever rubbish you have with you. While trekking up the stairs, my legs were a little sore (for someone like me who hasn't exercise in ages) but it was manageable and still very easy. Note: there's no phone reception around the basin. Walking back, continue to look for the signs and trail path to head back to the car. Overall a great place to visit and I would highly recommend it.
