Our dog Mimi is a rescue dog and very anxious around strangers. She requires daily medication. Belinda has been wonderful with Mimi and we have left our dog at Kennels on Kew multiple times. It is so reassuring leaving Mimi knowing she will be well looked after.

got to love reviews... I was about to book my dogs here and read the one about the staffy being kicked .... Think I will take them to someone else.

It's concerning to hear things like this Staffy being kicked. Not good to pick up your dog from a kennel limping, or worse.

The young lady who owns the business is great however, the man (her father) who helps told us that he has a hatred for Staffy's. When we booked our two dogs (1x15 yo Jack Russel cross & 1x17month pedigree Blue Staffy... both very good together) the father reiterated his dislike for Staffy's. When we collected our dogs 5 days later, our Staffy had a very bad limp and could not place his rear left leg on the ground. Both the father and daughter said they don't know what happened. We took our dog to the vet and x-rays showed his knee cap dosplaced and his tendons stretched like a ribbon. After his operation (and a 2000 bill) the vet surgeon said that he had a very good channel that his knee cap would fit in so he didn't need to make that deeper as he would normally do for any dog breed with a tendancy for displace a knee cap. The vet surgeon suggested to us that he believes that oue Staffy had received a very hard blow (or kick) ro his joint which dislocated his knee and stretched his tendon. We called Kennels on Kew and told them what the vet said but when the father heard what we were saying, he merely hung up the phone. Makes me very suspicious about a person who distinctle stated to us that he "detests" Staff's.

The facilities at Kew Kennels were very well suited to my dogs needs; adequate spaces when 'secured' and grassy runs for exercise, nutritious food and caring staff. The boarding costs are competitive and great value for money.
