All i asked for my Son, was a simple private viewing for immediate family with a specific CD, which was important to my Buddhist spiritual practice, to be played. I even went to great lengths to ensure the CD was in their possession by traveling from Sunshine Coast to hand deliver the CD. Unfortunately, they didn't bring the CD to the chapel on the day. How difficult can it be to get such a simple but important detail right? Strangely, no apology was offered on the day, just a callous offer to get iTunes up on the computer, mistakenly believing that on such a day, i would want to trawl through iTunes. I even had to chase Robin for 3 days to arrange return of my CD. Simply, Simplicity Funerals ruined the last memory of my Son. I would not recommend these people. If they stuff up something so seemingly simple, how could they be trusted to ensure a full service runs smoothly? Don't entrust these people with your final memory of your loved one! They don't live up to their slogan. I've had further discussions with Kelly. While obviously unable to undo what has been done, she at least knows how to listen and comes across as somebody who is capable of professionalism by showing care, compassion & understanding. She was also a great comfort on that special day when things went wrong. Thank-you Kelly.
