I tried to use the business. Went to Uppercuts Friday 15th January 2021 at 4pm I entered the premises wanting a buzz & was just about to sign in. I was asked if I was a local of Tourist. I was rather surprised by this question & replied that I was a Tourist & staying in Blackheath & that I have been here for 4 weeks. The hairdresser told me that they are only providing service for local people. This is due to COVID-19. Wow this is so wrong in my point of view. Maybe they should then ask their locals & those that commute to Sydney for work or their whereabouts. This business obviously is happy to throw away business & very interestingly there was no clients in their Salon. I left & went around the corner & was greeted with a lovely smile & had the best service from this gorgeous lady. I was very pleased with their service. Bad luck Uppercuts. And by the way I have been to your Salon before while on holidays in the Mountains before. You must be raking in the money to turn business away! This business therefore I wouldn’t recommend.

My son and I have been going to this hairdresser's for years. They are economical with great service. Fast and efficient. Friendly ladies and always felt welcome.
Professional , friendly service in a busy salon. No appointments taken , sometimes you will have to wait . That is the sign of a good salon! All the girls are great. I would highly reccomend this salon.
Super busy, which I took as a good sign. Not too long a wait in pleasant waiting area. Took a 10 year old who wanted a new style. Attentive hair dresser took the time to listen, gave a great cut that was very well received and also took the time to explain how we can style it at home. Very reasonably priced. Definitely be back
Waited for an hour and still wasn't served, I didn't have a spare two hours to wait around. It's advertised that appointments aren't necessary (which is apparently not the case), and was told that if I leave and come back I'll lose my spot in the line. I'm sure the haircuts are fine, but staff seemed more concerned with chatting with regulars than efficiently getting through customers
My partner got a haircut last week. It looks great and is growing out well too.
I really like this place. I'm not confident with knowing what style I want but the staff work hard, are helpful with advice, are skilled at their job and easy to talk to. It's always clean, fresh and tidy. A nice place to get a good cut, colour or style at competitive prices plus a good chat.
