So I just had some of the best customer service at the Kathmandu store in Macquarie. The salesperson Bianca was so helpful and made sure we had all our questions answered being it was my first time going camping. It’s not often I get someone so knowledgeable. Will definitely return for our next trip.

I have recently returned from a trip from Norway. Prior to going I was a regular at Kathmandu seeking advice and purchasing clothing and other accessories. Pleased to say all advice given was 100% correct. I had a really enjoyable trip and was suitably equipped for the weather. As they say in Norway “there is no bad weather, just bad clothes”. Not only were my clothes great they were also value for money. Thank you Kathmandu.

I had damage down one side of an existing Kathmandu jacket (1 year old). Not being able to identify what caused the damage or how it occured, after attempting to clean it out without any success, I decided to purchase a new jacket. Within no more than 3-4 days usage of the new jacket, I had the exact same damage appear and took it in to the store get it checked - only to be told that it was due to '?oil' being spilt and as such it was not covered by the manufacturers warranty, so there would be no way to even exchange this. I was surprised and rather disappointed with Kathmandu as I know that was not the case. While I do realise it's not the store's fault who are passing on the message, as I now have 2 jackets that are damaged and I am out of pocket with no recourse...thanks guys 15/8 - Follow up. The assistant store manager took ownership and did replace the newer jacket for me, hence me updating this review to 3 stars. 28/10 - Updated to 4 stars. My original jacket was resprayed at no charge even if the reason for the damage is unable to be ascertained. I would like to thank Angelina, the Asst Manager for taking ownership of this
