I went last week for assistance with my eye ware following cataract surgery. Louise looked after me at this appointment. Louise was exceptional with her service. Louise carefully noted the ongoing problems with my eyes and made recommendations to ameliorate my ongoing conditions. Knowing I would be out of pocket from my Medical benefit fund ,she ensured that my existing frames could be reused. I am told other providers will not do this even if the existing frames are ok. Thank you OPSM. I am thrilled to have such excellent service from caring staff. Although I was running late for my appointment,I phoned from the car and asked for 20 grace.Not a problem to them . Left OPSM Karrinyup due to poor service 5 years ago, Decided to try again, only to be let down, Went in before Xmas to pick out my prescription sunglasses, found the ones i want and arranged my wife to drop off prescription, then went back in to get measured up for new sun glasses, i was assured all details would be keep, went back in 5 days later and no prescription or record could be found. A waste of my time and very disappointing again.
Ridiculous and extremely poor service and attitude. Not only the sales staff Magget was rude, the optometrist Bansi Shah has a unnecessary attitude. The parking in Karrinyup shopping centre at the moment is a nightmare and I got 5 minutes late for my optometrist appointment and they refused to entertain me. Their next appointment was 20-25 mins away and they had an easy gap to accomodate me in that time but the staff was very adamant. Even refused to call and check with next appointment whether they will be ok to wait for 5 mins if they can’t finish with me in time. I mean 5 minutes wait is quite normal in normal retail environment. The optometrist I am sure would be running over in a lot of appointments, would they just request the next customer to wait or just tell them to go back. I told her I am not going to reschedule and would rather cancel and go to another store. I would never come back here again. I mean whether retail is struggling in today’s tough economic environment, the owner of the business need to think how they want to run their business, especially with staff like this.
Very poor customer service, I have numerous negative experiences as a customer here - will be taking my service to another optometrist in the shopping centre.
