Extremely disappointed. I made a very polite request to have a birthday cake delivered before 1pm to Negombo. It was delivered after 6pm. Seriously!!! Even after a customer makes a request and not even that far from Colombo. On the website it was updated that it was out for delivery on the day before. Does it mean that it has been sitting on someone’s house all that time? They should have at least informed me of the delay so that I could have made other arrangements. I made the request for a reason because there was a party and obviously the cake arrived after the people left. Not to mention how the messages to recipients and things such as gift cards are printed. Just on cheap paper like a supermarket invoice. I have been a Kapruka customer for almost 10 years if not more. Have had very good CS in the past. But it has been disappointing lately, Will never be ordering from them again. I will happily spend my money elsewhere.
terrible customer service and not reliable. Last week a place ordered to be delivered to Wattala at 130 pm i asked the recipient if the order has been delivered. They had mention that it hasn't been delivered. I then called Kapruka asking where the delivery was the person on the phone mentioned that they are unable to deliver the item. which is very appalling, i didn't every receive a call or email i had chase my order up to find out that it wont be delivered. I placed another order for a little girls birthday for today be delivered at 130 pm again in Allawa, i had to call multiple times to see where the order is. Espically when a little girl is waiting for her birthday cake. It is 7pm that is 5.5 hours after the requested time still hasn't been delivered. I understand that there is traffic and whether condition may be a factor but more than 5 hours still no delivery that is ridiculous. I usually place a order through Kapruka every month, never been reliable but not this bad before. But what i can say from last two orders i wont every order through them again i will never recommend Kapruka to anyone WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REALIBILITY, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I have been sending my parents presents through Kapruka all this time. And I am thankful for that service. But I am absolutely disgusted about the company and its owner for how it has been operating while overcharging two or three times more than products' real price in dollars at a time like this. Businesses who make profit from misfortune at a time like this when everyone is universally affected have to be banned. Kapruka is immoral and unethical and other smaller businesses have to be promoted and encouraged to first think of societal well being. I will never use Kapruka again.

Looks like most of the people got it mixed up Kapruka Pty Ltd (which is the money transfer service in Australia) and Kapruka.com (goods delivery service in Sri Lanka- who were the culprits of recent scam). Pls note that these are 2 different organisations, unfortunately has similar names. Pls be mindful before you comment as it could damage Kapruka Pty Ltd reputation earned as a reliable and reputed money transfer service over the years. I am writing this as a customer who used Kapruka Pty Ltd (Clayton, Victoria -Australia) for Money transfers to Sri Lanka since 2009. Their service is exceptional todate.
