If you're in to Australian pastoral history then this place is a gem. Back in the old country, a site like this would be managed by English Heritage, fenced off and there'd be an admission charge, here it's just a spot off the road with a few signs for tourists. Well worth a stop and look around.

Great spot to stop for a break. Some good information on the ruins here. Great spot for lunch and some photographs. A donation box could be an idea.
Very impressive. There is a lot of history at the ruins. If you take your time and read the information provided it would be great for children as well.

Wonderful example of the states early history. Life would have been hard and it was the last post office going north. In the few years it was viable it processed about 23,000 letters.
