I had my wedding at Kantara House (before COVID!) and my guests are still talking about how amazing the venue was, even months later! I fell in love as soon as I arrived for my first tour and I have nothing but great things to say about the venue. The staff are all so amazing, the grounds were manicured to perfection and the entire event went smoothly. My day was perfect despite a few curve balls thrown our way from other vendors on the day. I cannot rate this venue highly enough.

Karina & her team are amazing. My now wife contacted her with 4 days notice to have our intimate ceremony in the Charlotte Chapel. After so many things that went wrong in the lead up to our day from COVID, to weather concerns, they made it so so special. So accomodating, and made it all about ‘us’. I can not recommend their team and the location enough. Just stunning.
My partner and I are looking at venues for our wedding in 2022 and we loved the look of the Kantara House from the pictures (we still do). Unfortunately we had a rather disappointing experience and we did not even get the chance to see the venue... We tried to book a tour of the site and we were planning on bringing my mum along as she has been to other venues with us and we wanted her to feel involved. The management at Kantara House refused to let us have three guests and would only allow two guests due to COVID-19. I understand the risk of COVID-19 but there haven't been restrictions as strict as Kantara currently have in place for in months now and its totally unnecessary to have a 2 person limit. When I asked when we could bring more people I was told it is unlikely they will be allowing more than 2 guests for the foreseeable future. When I said can I just get some information on pricing (to see if it was in our price range so we could decide whether it was worth us booking a tour) they refused to give us any information on pricing unless we saw the venue first. Both the limit on guests and the refusal of pricing is not a problem we have faced with any of the other venues we have spoken to. Kantara House management was making it extremely difficult for us rather than making it an easy and enjoyable process. Rather than removing barriers to encourage us to book they put barriers up and wanted us to fit in with them, when in fact they should be adjusting to us because they are providing us a service not the other way around. If this is how difficult they are being before we have even seen the venue I can't image how difficult they would be during the process of planning the wedding if we booked with them. It is stressful enough organising a wedding without the venue making it 10x harder.
The three stars go to the heroic staff and the staff alone. Whomever is in charge of this place needs a career change. No aircon on the hottest day (so far) of the year. Beers were pouring flat and warm. Ice machine was on the fritz and no fresh limes or lemons for spirits and mixers from the bar. Obviously have talented chefs, the food was too notch. Ran out of mixers (coke, lemonade etc) halfway through the night. If this was my wedding I'd want my money back. Floor staff you rock for putting up with the poor management
Kantara house was the perfect place to get married! The chapel was magical and the grounds were the perfect backdrop for our photos. Our guests loved the food and the staff were so helpful all night. Thank you for helping making our wedding day unforgettable!
An amazing venue! The staff went above and beyond to make my wedding perfect - nothing was too much trouble. Plus the gardens look stunning in our photos. I seriously could not recommend Kantara House enough!!!
The venue is wonderful for a wedding especially if you have a load of children attending. The food was all made on site and delicious. Staff are very friendly and courteous.
