We have been attending Jump swim school for over a year. My daughter has progressed up in classes at the appropriate time and the small classes are really great. The pool is lovely and warm and there are heaters in change rooms for the cool months.

A really.great learning environment for swimming. The pool is super warm, so you don't have to worry about the chilly Canberra mornings. Class sizes are small, and staff remember the children by name. The pool is all about 1.2mtr deep, so no shallow end. There is however a number of platforms for the kids to stand on.

Fantastic swim school! Happily catering so well to the needs of my boy and our family. Small class sizes with great teachers

Unfortunately Jump sold in August 2019 and whilst we were initially contacted by the new owners to reschedule classes, this communication ended abruptly and the school never reopened.

Unfortunately I was left feeling let down by JUMP swim school. I attended a class with my 1 year old daughter who had never participated in a swimming lesson before. The staff did not seem to take this into consideration at all and seemed to push through the class leaving us behind and confused. All of the other bubs had been in lessons for a while as I spoke to some of the other parents afterwards in confusion as I was unsure we had been put in the right group. This was not the beginner class that I was after. When I asked questions about the things we were doing and if I was showing my daughter correctly or if I should be doing something different, the staff brushed me off and didn't seem to have the patience to explain. Originally, when I enquired about the beginner class, I was told that we would focus on water confidence and when both Bub and I are comfortable we will focus on transitioning to submersion, however, the second activity during the first class was submersion and the instructor seemed irritated when I said I was unsure of fully submerging my daughter. This seemed very unprofessional and disorganised from the very moment we walked through the doors. When we first arrived there was no one at the front desk where I stood with my wriggly one year old for five minutes and still no one came to the desk. So I walked through the gate - still no one around. I changed Bub, and eventually asked another mum for some guidance as there was no one around that worked there. She too was annoyed saying this was common and lead me in the right direction. I did attend a second lesson just to see if they were having a "bad day" on the day of our first, but there were absolutely no improvements. We will be finding another swim school as JUMP is not the one for us.
