Our family had a very challenging year last year and had many incidences involving police officers from Joondalup. We would like to let them know that we found all of our interactions ,under difficult circumstances, with all officers, extremely professional. We were offered nothing but understanding and compassion every time and would like to thank them all for their assistance, patience and support during what was the most difficult time in our family life. We wish we could thank each of you personally. Thank you very much.

Refusal to assist in certifying documents as it wasn’t perceived as being “essential” to the lady at the desk.
Got picked up choofin at the traino, back of the divvy van was clean and spacious. And my wrists didnt have the usual lingering handcuff smell they usually do... 10/10 would get arrested here again
They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.
Very poor service or attitude toward serving the community. I went their to get some documents certified. The attendant said she will not certify more than 2 pages. When I gave her the top two pages to certify she said she would not be comfortable certifying them because the signature was printed on the original. As if this is not common business practice in the 21st century. No wonder there is such a negative attitude toward the police in the community.
As a business owner in Joondalup I am seriously disgusted by the handling & treatment received. By far the worst experience, dealing with arrogant, sexist, lazy & ill-informed “police”. 4 phone calls to police for assistance over a 2hr timeframe. As we were terrorised by members of the public. Threats with guns etc, damage to property & even a guy from the group who said he was an under cover police officer to gain entry to the premises. When the police finally arrived we were treated like the criminals. Ignored & even laughed at. Didn’t take down any details what so ever. But was happy to tell me they can’t do anything about it because the real criminals offered to pay for the damage. I said I would go to Joondalup station with cctv & make a statement the following day I was told do not go to station someone will contact you. No one has. Complaint not taken seriously at all. Not to mention the other 3 calls to police over an 8 week period for assistance because of repeat credit card scams.. was told to keep the offenders in store, police on way, no one showed.. until it was all over the news, then they wanted a statement some 32 days after the incident. What a joke! WA Police WA Shame!
