I’ve had experiences in your hospital that have always ended satisfactorily. But, a complaint that is beyond your ability to fix. The cost of food in the cafe on your ground floor is outrageous. 20 for a basic roll and OJ is far too much. I can only suggest that your Managers/Owners talk to these people ask them to wind down their theft metre, a lot. It’s traumatic enough if you have a medical issue, without having to pay ridiculous prices to soothe your hunger.

Excellent doctors, building and cafe food!
I had the pleas of being admitted to private ward H2-23 after a Hernia operation. The operation was performed by Mr Hannes BASSON who I cannot speak highly enough (please see review left on Mr BASSON’s site). I was cared for by many staff during my two night stay, here are some of the names I captured: Alex Kat Crystal Lara (Croft) hahaha Siantel Christine Maria Lauren Taylor and Jill, how can I forget our 6am chat Drs, nurses and all carers were OUTSTANDING. I read some of the reviews that are quite harsh surrounding staff laughing, joking or sometimes being heard making noise. Nothing closing your door cannot remedy, but I believe this illustrates a good team ethic, camaraderie and all the stress relief needed to work their tireless shifts. Please be kind to these people. Our frontline essential professionals, without them, we would not survive. I wish to extend my gratitude and commend you on behalf of myself and all the patients you care for.
Took really good care of me and looked after me and my baby really well. I was transferred from another hospital to this one and put in ICU. I was in coma for 2 days and then went into maternity. It's now 5 years since my daughter was born and today my sister in law delivered a girl in this same hospital. Their experience has been really good as well. Really happy to have a hospital with all the needed facilities so close to home. Highly recommend the staff in the maternity wards both in the private and public sections of the hospital.

What a despicable experience I have had with this hospital! I notice all the reviews are answered with a standard response to contact the consumer liaison department. Don't bother! I did, and the response I received was patronising and offensive. Then they refer you to a Health Services Complaint Office if you're not happy, forcing you to relive the trauma all over again. The staff member I complained about lied her way out of it so it was my word against hers...and they took hers. Their failure in duty of care where they refused my father his medication, prescribed by his palliative care doctor, and taken into the hospital for his short stay, was also denied. My father came out of that hospital stay in a way worse state than when he went in. Their failure to administer his morphine and nebuliser left him in a very confused and distressed state. He never recovered. He passed away two days later. Sadly we had to spend the precious last days of his life struggling with unhelpful and uncaring staff, to retrieve his medications that had been taken into the hospital and not returned, so that he could function. Precious time we could have spent with Dad.
I had a c-section delivery at Joondalup Private and the maternity staff were all outstanding. Day or night every single nurse/midwife was so nice to us, answered all our questions/concers and were generally very good at their jobs, what they do for new mums and bubs is amazing.
