Founded in 2017, we are unlocking the fearless potential of our country’s future leaders by providing access to life-changing skills and gender education. In a perfect world, women would not need to learn self-defence in order to feel confident in their bodies and communities. Until we live in a world free from violence and inequality, Jasiri Australia will partner with world-class Taekwondo champions to work with women of all backgrounds, equipping them with the skills they need to defend themselves. For every paid student that engages in our programs, we fund free training for a survivor of abuse. But we need more than that. Our program will soon take us into schools to train school-aged girls across the ACT in self-defence, social engagement and entrepreneurship to ensure all girls and women can enjoy a life free from violence and can access their fearless potential. Jasiri Australia is more than an organisation. Jasiri Australia is a movement. Our work is not limited to skills provision. After Jasiri's costs are taken care of, we give 100% of our profits from our online store to the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, which distributes life-changing programs and support for children around Australia.
