Amazing authentic Japanese dishes served by Japanese people! It’s a nice change from Japanese restaurants with Korean owners... I studied in Kyoto for a while and coming to this restaurant was like I was back there. めっちゃ美味しい️
Price: (reasonable) Portion: (quite large and should be shared) Taste: (the dishes are hits and misses. ) Ambiance: (good, I love the way they have decorated the shop. However serving food with styrofoam is kind of kill my mood for a date lunch) Service: (friendly and fast)
Had the chicken nanban with crab cream croquet, prawn, burdock, and lotus root sides and a small leafy salad. All had a lovely homey taste and mouthfeel. The restaurant interior is casual Japanese Kitch, which keeps the eyes entertained in a relaxed atmosphere while you await your order. There is also some alfresco seating, which we used as our dog came along for a ride. A fun, casual place to go for a meal from an authentic Japanese kitchen.
Large portion and reasonable price. Love the atmosphere here, cozy and culturally rich. The food is above average but it can be a bit salty sometimes; but overall it’s good and worth visiting. The bento sets are recommended. Will definitely be back.
My favourite local Japanese restaurant, decor is super cute & interesting. Most importantly food is delicious and well priced. Highly recommended!
